Enhancing stability by trapping palladium inside N-heterocyclic carbene-functionalized hypercrosslinked polymers for heterogeneous C-C bond formations

چکیده

Abstract Catalyst deactivation caused by the aggregation of active metal species in reaction process poses great challenges for practical applications supported catalysts solid-liquid catalysis. Herein, we develop a hypercrosslinked polymer integrated with N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) as bifunctional support to stabilize palladium heterogeneous C-C bond formations. This catalyst exhibits excellent stability one-pot fluorocarbonylation indoles four kinds valuable indole-derived carbonyl compounds cascade or sequential manner, well representative Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction. Investigations on stabilizing effect disclose that this displays molecular fence which coordination NHC sites and confinement skeleton contribute together process. work provides new insight into development high will also boost their efficient advanced synthesis.
